Happy New Year!

A new year and new ideas...

Ah, the new year speaks of new beginnings. It's a time to look back, reflect, and decide what we want to do differently- new resolutions.
I'm not really one for making resolutions every year, but I do want to freshen things up in my shop.

Something new that I'm doing is going to the Crown Point Indiana, Fourth Friday Arts event. I'm working on building up my inventory and making preparations for that. This will also freshing up my shop with new items.

So, I'm making a "to do" list for my shop, in no particular order:

• New banner
• New avatar
• Make a new scarf pattern for my shops
• Post my new fingerless mittens

And here's some more newness! I just opened a shop on ArtFire on December 31st. http://www.rainydayart.artfire.com
Since most of my art is all original and one of a kind, many of my items will only be in one shop. I will have my patterns available in both shops.

I'm also excited about getting more yarn for dyeing! So watch for that newness in my shop too!

Etsy at the Beach

I'm going to Etsy at the Beach in Lincoln City, Oregon on September 1st! There are lots of great Etsy sellers signed up so I hope you can make it! :)

It is at the Cultural Center in Lincoln City, OR 10am to 6pm

After the Craft Fair

That craft fair was pretty fun! The best part was meeting a bunch of cool artists. Many of them are on etsy too.
http://bluecloud.etsy.com has some cool jewelry and she also does custom clothing.
http://JennMaruskaDesign.etsy.com has clever sewn items like cute baskets and wallets.
http://beadsnall.etsy.com makes so many things her table was very full. She has some great stitch markers.
http://TheIvyLeaf.etsy.com or www.ialuna.com has some great jewelery and adorable bookmarks.
And at the table next to mine http://reflectsthemoon.etsy.com I really wanted to get one of her pictures. Maybe when I get my own walls.

Spring Thing Craft Fair
