Blanket Update
I made a tag and attached it to my blanket. I wrote the words in marker and then sewed them with that pretty blue thread. I like how it turned out, but I don't know if I want to make the Blue Faced Leicester one this way.
Here is some yarn I was working on today. This is before I plied it. It's now hanging to dry.

Blanket Update
I finally attached a few more pieces to my sample blanket. The big brown rectangle on the left is Blue Faced Leicester. The white square above that is ingeo. The green rectangle waiting to be attached is knitted from some of my hand dyed yarn. It should have more lables on it right now, but I tried making some different ones and them put it in the wash to see how it would hold up and it dissapeared! I just can't find it now. Maybe the washer destroyed it, but that would seem a bit odd. My clothes from that load were fine. :) I guess I'll just have to make more lable and hand wash them.

Blanket Update
The latest addition to my blanket is a small rectangle knitted on size 8 needles with yarn spun on a drop spindle. The purple is 70% merino and 30% tencel. The white is wool of some kind that I used to test my drop spindle. The drop spindle is fun to use, but I like my wheel more. I did like spinning at the airport while I waited for my flight.
